Fourfront is 11th in Best Companies List

Fourfront Group are delighted to announce their position as number 11 in The Sunday Times Best 100 Companies to Work For 2016, in the mid-size category. The accolade was presented at the Best Companies Awards ceremony on Thursday evening and accompanies the ‘Three Star Accreditation Standard’, the highest possible achievement already awarded to the Group.

This fantastic success for Fourfront Group, made up of four companies; Area Sq, Sketch, Cube and 360 Workplace, follows an employee survey designed by The Sunday Times to measure engagement of all staff. Only organisations with the highest level of overall engagement qualify for the prestigious Top 100 list, which has been running since 2001.

Fourfront Group understand how important employee engagement and well-being in the workplace is and this award acknowledges the level of investment the Group puts into our people. The Group invests three times the national average on training for staff to help develop and nurture talent. All Fourfront employees are enrolled into the ‘Fourfront Academy’ and are given a career development training programme, tailored for their specific needs and job role.

Other programmes introduced by the Group include ‘Women in Fourfront’, a scheme to support career development for female employees in what has traditionally been a very male-dominated environment, and ‘NextGen’, a young professionals business network for employees aged 30 and under.

Everything the Group does is underpinned by a set of values known as the ‘Fourfront Way’. The ten ‘truths’ about how the company operates capture the essence of the business and include ‘We are family’, ‘Be the best you can be’, and ‘Attitude is as important as aptitude’.

In addition to formal work-based investment, the Group also enjoys celebrating successes together, and hold an annual overseas company trip to reward employees for all their hard work throughout the year.
