Fourfront Group undertake exciting development project for Shooting Star Chase!

Fourfront Group are once again taking part in a charity challenge to help support Shooting Star Chase (SSC). SSC is a leading children’s hospice charity caring for babies, children and young people with life-limiting conditions, and their families. We are honoured to have been supporting this incredible charity since 2008!

We have 80 staff across our group working with our sub-contractors to refurbish the lounge and dining areas at Shooting Star Chase’s Hampton site. Our team members will be helping to build and decorate this space over an intense 2-week period to get it ready for SSC as soon as possible. The new lounge and dining area will be an exciting space for both the children and their parents to enjoy, with the display area set to offer artwork and comfortable seating areas provided for families.

We offer our employees the opportunity to take three days off a year to participate in charity work, so this incredible scheme encourages as many people to get involved as possible!

The person leading the refurbishment is Area’s Head of Client Support and Charity Committee member, Justin Lewis. He comments: “We’re once again delighted to be volunteering our services to this very worthwhile cause. It’s overwhelming to see how many people have signed up to donate their time to deliver this project, and we cannot thank our sub-contractors enough for taking part again.”

James Cornwell, Area Director and Head of the Charity Committee, adds: “Area and the wider Fourfront Group have been supporting Shooting Star Chase for over 10 years and have raised over £400,000 for this very worthy cause. A number of events are already planned for 2019, and we hope this refurbishment will help kick start our mission to hit the £500,000 by the end of this year.”

We would like to take this opportunity to thank the sub-contractors who are taking part in this refurbishment. Without them donating their services, time and materials, this project would not be possible. Our special thanks goes to: Southern Fire, Eurotec, Sterling Site Supplies, Encore, Hawk Scaffolding, Bridgegate Electrical Ltd, Lawmens, RSR, Cablecomm, Synergy, Interiors Solutions London, JBL, Profixed, Carters, Amtico, Interface, Desso, Flortec, Interiors Europe, Vivid, Aztec, Artworks, Zip, Frovi, Zing Clean, Vantage Spaces, JHB Building Services and Edward Williams Furniture.
