Fourfront Group launches first Supply Chain Forum

“When it comes down to delivering an excellent service for our clients, cost, time and quality are just the starting point – getting this right should always be a given. What we aim to provide is a seamless customer experience and excellence in everything that we do”.

- Lee Marple, Group Operations Director

As part of our Excellence in Delivery initiative, July saw the launch of our first Supply Chain Forum, held at the Instant Offices site, currently approaching completion by the Area London project team, on Level 6 of The Cottons Centre, just a few minutes’ walk from our London office.

This forum was the first of an ongoing series of events organised by Owen Thomas, Supply Chain Manager; this role also being new to the Group. A selection of our preferred subcontractors from across all trades were invited to this initial forum. Topics covered in this forum included the merger, payment terms, subcontractor scoring, H&S and charity - presented by Lee Marple, Group Operations Director; Simon Pearson, Contracts Director; Peter Barlow, Health and Safety Director and James Cornwell, Quality and Environmental Director.

The event provided our subcontractors a forum to learn more about how we work and get answers to any questions they may have had. We aim to hold this type of event on regular occasions to show our subcontractor base just how valuable they are to our business - after all, if it wasn't for them we wouldn't be able to function. By building a strong network of happy subcontractor relationships we aim to achieve better results which in turn means happier clients.
