Main responsibilities

The opportunity is primarily focused within the Regions and London Area, but the role will require travel throughout the UK and Europe to meet Project & Client Requirements. The objective will be to develop and manage accounts, both internally within Sketch, from the Group and from new clients brought in by leads and market opportunities. Ideally the candidate will have their own network of both Clients and sub-contractors.

Key Accountabilities

  • Develop and grow sales within London and the UK through leads generated by The Group and through a direct approach to the market.
  • Work with Sketch and Group pitch teams to produce professional pitch documents and participate within pitch meetings.
  • Build the Moves profile within existing key Sketch strategic accounts and maintain positive long-term relationships.
  • Attend & receive project handovers from the Client project team.
  • Conduct site surveys & meetings to ensure planning is effective & efficient.
  • Estimating of jobs and prospects and then produce and refine moves and relocation programmes alongside the PM Team.
  • Liaise with Clients’ suppliers so delivery timelines are correctly incorporated in the install programme.
  • Agree with key stakeholders the Sketch install plans & keep internal & external teams updated throughout.
  • Task & manage the Moves Teams and promote Sketch standards on site.
  • Sign-off & take necessary actions to close projects with the Client in a timely manner.
  • Ensure that the project document process is compliant to the internal administration structure.
  • Keeping the CRM process up to date, including the completion of data for sales forecasting at month end.

Professional Skills & Experience

  • Strategic & Sales Management Experience
  • Commercial Moves & Relocation Industry knowledge.
  • Articulate communicator.
  • Commercially astute (knowledge of structuring proposals, understands margins).
  • Proactive approach.
  • The ability to provide solutions to the client, sometimes on the spot at a briefing or pitch meeting.
  • Ability to lead teams & work well in a close team.
  • Full Driving Licence.
  • Computer literate in MS Word / Excel.
  • Knowledge of MS Project an advantage.
